Today, my grandfather took me to see Avatar for my birthday. Admittedly, I was more excited about getting to see my grandfather as he's one of my favorite people than I was about seeing the movie, but that quickly changed. The movie is definitely awesome, a visual feast, and it makes you think. I highly recommend seeing it, especially because the story is just as good as the effects.
I was sad to read that Brittany Murphy died today, I liked her as an actress.
My birthday is Tuesday, and I'm not looking forward to being another year older. However, who doesn't like feeling like the star of the day every so often? The one thing I love about birthdays is that feeling like it's your day, even if you and a few others are the only ones who know it.
Work tomorrow, I'm thinking this week will go quickly due to the holiday. I pretty much have my new schedule for the new year all figured out, just need to get the finalized details. Woot.
